Attorney Andrew R. Walter is an experienced criminal defense lawyer serving clients in Walworth County, Waukesha, Racine, and throughout southeast Wisconsin. Prior to focusing exclusively on criminal defense, Andrew represented individuals, small businesses, and large corporations in civil litigation matters. Andrew’s diverse experience includes representing multinational corporations in state and federal litigation, leading criminal appeals, and representing defendants in criminal court. Andrew has been chosen by judges and other attorneys to serve as trustee and receiver in complex circuit court cases, nominated by local judges for various public service positions, and awarded for providing representation to poor defendants.  

 

Andrew has a Juris Doctor from the Arizona State University College of Law. While at Arizona State, Andrew received the William H. Pedrick Scholar award and the Canby Moot Court Appellate Advocacy Award. Andrew also holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While an undergraduate, Andrew was a member of the Political Science Honor Society and was a pitcher on the baseball team. 

Andrew R. Walter is licensed to practice in all Wisconsin Courts and the Western District of Wisconsin Federal Court. Andrew grew up in Milwaukee and currently resides in Waukesha.
